National and state experts will address efforts to fight voter suppression, gerrymandering, the U.S. Census as well as innovations in California to ensure voters inclusion and engagements.
Special guest Dale Ho of the ACLU and the Fall 2019 Margaret Levy Public Interest Fellow at UCLA Law, who recently succeeded in the U.S. Supreme Court in keeping a U.S. citizenship question off the 2020 Census, will be joined by Kathay Feng of Common Cause, Rosalind Gold of NALEO, and Steve Reyes (tentatively) of the California Secretary of State’s office, moderated by Karin Wang, Executive Director of UCLA Law’s Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy.
